Workshop Description

Photography is an expressive art form that primarily relies on observational skills in relationship to light, form, and composition. The focus of Tuscan Light Photographic Workshops are on these foundational photographic skills with emphasis on composition in conjunction with digital imaging/understanding your digital camera; rounded off with a great cultural and culinary experience, second to none!

Students will fine tune their sensitivities in conjunction with visual and emotional relationships, enabling them to have a better understanding of how photography can capture and express the inner vision of the artist.

This workshop will primarily be taught in the field during our daily photographic excursions but will also include some class instructions demos and personal critiques/ discussion sessions. Landscapes, people and architectural photography will be the basis for our photographic day trips and will set the ground for our daily discussions.

This workshop is held in S. Tuscany, nearby Proceno and is recommended for those shooting digitally or film shooters. All levels of photographers are welcome to attend, there will be plenty of time to address each and every participants photographic interests during the five workshop days.

* Specialized workshops can be arranged for groups of six or more participants during June or September  where there is not a Tuscan Light workshop already scheduled. Contact me for details.
