My home and studio on the border of Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria will serve as the base for most workshops. This unique area of the Italian countryside, strategically located between Rome and Florence, is populated with many ancient Etruscan towns and medieval castles.
Life in this area has remained relatively unchanged and the local foods, wines, and restaurants maintain the charm of an unspoiled Italian culture. This is a unique experience for those who have been searching to discover and photograph in Italy where few tourists find their way.
The terrain of this unique area features undulating rolling hills, valleys, and forests, offset by mountains that are home to many small time honored Italian villages. The extraordinary landscapes, the indigenous architecture and the local inhabitants will be the focus of our photographic day trips and will set the ground for our interactions in regards to better understanding composition and the creative process involved in making poignant imagery.
My studio is a fully equipped printmaking studio, complete with digital lab and a darkroom set up for alternative photographic processes.
Registration
Each workshop is limited to 8 participants although private workshops are also available when scheduled workshops are not being taught. There is also the possibility to drop into a existing workshop for two or three days if there is space available.
A non-refundable deposit of 150 euro is required to reserve your spot. Your balance for the workshop will be due upon arrival.
